Had a chilled morning around the house, making phone calls and looking after Jo.
Drove through Ouray and up the first 6 miles of the Million Dollar Highway to Ironton - named after the Gold and Silver found in the region. Some quite steep drop offs and snow ploughs clearing recent small avalanches. Had a look at the cross country ski trails and will come back another day to try our hand (feet) at lang laufing.
Drove back into Ouray an walked around the Ice climbing gorge where they hold world championships. Lots of people climbing ice walls - seems like fun but at $250 each for a half day intro session, we'll give it a miss.
