After saying our goodbyes to Steph & Ryan took an Uber to Gatwick North Terminal. WestJet Flight WS 25 took about 6.5 hours to get to Halifax.

Flew right over Minehead (and Zoe), Woolacombe, the west coast of Ireland which we explored last year, then nothing til the wilderness and numerous lakes of Newfoundland and Labrador, across the Gulf of St Lawrence and Prince Edward Island finally to Nova Scotia.

Plenty of space on the plane and staff polite and welcoming with "thank you sir" at the car hire place.

Dropped bags off at the Airbnb and went for a McD just to get the croc in the Happy Meal. Then to Walmart to buy a cooler box for Stuart's meds. Finally drove to Halifax waterfront boardwalk and walked around for a couple of hours , albeit a bit wearily considering it was 11pm UK time. All kinds of ships there - container ships, war ships, cruise ships, ferries, sailboats. Hopefully one of the ships will be depositing our motorhome soon. Not the start we'd hoped for with the motorhome delayed and the added expense of having to rent a car, book hotels and eat out for 8 days, but making the best

of it.

Huge orange moon tonight.
